Young at Heart is a vibrant and welcoming community within Mary, Queen of Peace dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults. This group is designed for parishioners 55 and older who are young in spirit and eager to stay engaged, connected, and active in their faith and social lives. Young at Heart offers a variety of activities and programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of its members.
Members will enjoy regular meetings that encourage spiritual growth, and faith-filled fellowship. The activities scheduled allow for the learning of new skills and finding fun through game days and local outings.
Young at Heart is more than just a collection of activities; it is a supportive and caring community. Members form lasting friendships and provide mutual support through life's challenges and joys. The group creates a sense of belonging and ensures that no one feels isolated or alone.
"We must consider how to rouse one another to love and good works. We should not stay away from our assembly,* as is the custom of some, but encourage one another, and this all the more as you see the day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
