R.U.N.

Mission: With God at the center, R.U.N. volunteers will foster life-changing encounters with Jesus through their immediate and short-term service to parishioners and the community in times of urgent need.

Vision: R.U.N. volunteers will assist in providing critical assistance in many forms. A community list of contacts for services will be developed and distributed to those we serve. R.U.N. volunteers will pray for those they serve.

Volunteers Needed:

Labor Team: Labor Team Volunteer (cooks, servers, demolition, construction, transportation)

Parishioners will volunteer to be on a call list. R.U.N. volunteers will answer the call to serve if they are available. The call to serve will list the date, time, location, and type of volunteer(s) needed. The sign-up for the call to serve will specify how many volunteers are needed and the specific volunteer task and/or skill level required.

Care Team: (Pray, Play, Shop, Bake)

Care Team members using provided funds may be needed to shop for supplies for the Labor team. After a R.U.N.’s urgent labor team response, a R.U.N. follow-up care team volunteer will contact the person who received assistance. The Care Team volunteer will check in with the recipient to pray with the person and refer them to other parish ministries or community services if needed. Care Team members may come to the site during labor team activities for support.
